[Misaki spent the rest of the hour she had to wait, still in that dining hall.

Part of her wonders what the meeting Kai was called away for was about. But, the Kagero like their battles, and not all of those battles are actually important in the grand scheme of things. She shouldn’t bother thinking about irrelevant things. She can trust Kai… and trust Bengal, too. They’re capable, whereas I am not. Misaki did have some training in swordsmanship, but only enough to perform ritualistic dances. Even though she wants to help, her lack of skill would only be a burden. I’m better off staying out of the way.

Time’s up. The hour has passed. Another servant comes to let her know that her escort is ready. She nods, having no reason to linger. Back home. Shin-san’s worried, I’m sure.

The unit assigned to escort her… Well, he’ll do. The surrounding countries were, indeed, not friendly, but still… Who would want to attack the Oracle? Misaki can’t see why any country would want to anger the neutral zone. She looks at her escort with a nod.]
